About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure Centre Manager to oversee operations at a premier facility in Belfast . This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of all aspects of the leisure centre. You will lead a diverse team, manage budgets, drive membership growth, and ensure an exceptional experience for all visitors. The successful candidate will be passionate about fitness and recreation, with a strong understanding of operational management and a commitment to serving the Belfast community by providing high-quality leisure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including staffing, facility maintenance, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership, revenue, and overall utilisation of facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations and standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of centre staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage budgets effectively, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for financial growth.
• Oversee the delivery of a wide range of fitness classes, sports activities, and community programmes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leisure centre management or a similar operational management role.
• Strong understanding of fitness industry best practices, health and safety regulations, and facility management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive business performance.
• Experience in staff training, development, and performance management.
