About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Leisure Centre Supervisor to join their team in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of duty managers, receptionists, and facility attendants during shifts.
• Ensure all areas of the leisure centre are clean, well-maintained, and meet health and safety standards.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the facility, ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Monitor activity levels and assist in the implementation of operational plans to maximise facility usage.
• Conduct staff briefings and provide on-the-job training to ensure service quality and adherence to procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the leisure, hospitality, or retail sector.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive user experience.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a public facility is advantageous.
