Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 or Level 3
Location: Hemel Hempstead , Hertfordshire Job Type: Full-time Working Days: Monday-Friday, 4 or 5 days per week Salary: £13.50 - £16 per hour
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our team. We are happy to consider candidates who hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare and are passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside the nursery team to support children's development through play, activities and positive interactions.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality care and support to children. Planning and supporting engaging, age-appropriate activities. Supporting children's learning and development. Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Supporting children's personal care and daily routines where required. Working as part of a friendly and professional team. Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Early Years/Childcare. Caring, patient and enthusiastic. Reliable, professional and hardworking. Confident communicating with children, parents and colleagues. Able to work effectively as part of a team. Passionate about helping children learn, develop and thrive. Able to work Monday-Friday, 4 or 5 days per week.
DBS Requirement
Applicants must either:
Hold a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or Be willing to apply for a new DBS check.If a new DBS is required, the cost can be reimbursed after 20 days of successful employment, subject to the applicable terms.

Candidates must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last two years.
