About the role

We are recruiting Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join an accredited Montessori nursery and preschool in Ascot, Berkshire.

The setting supports children aged 0–5 and combines Montessori education with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. There are two opportunities available: one working with children under two and one working with children over two.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing, reliable and confident Nursery Practitioner who wants to support children’s independence, curiosity, confidence and development within a distinctive early-years environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive and high-quality care for children aged 0–5.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities through learning and play.

• Support children’s communication, language, independence and confidence.

• Apply Montessori principles alongside the EYFS framework.

• Build positive professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

• Observe children’s progress and contribute to planning and development records.

• Support settling-in, daily routines and school-readiness activities where appropriate.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and child-development best practice.

• Contribute positively to the wider nursery team and the needs of your room.

About you

You will need:

• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.

• Practical nursery experience within an EYFS setting.

• Experience supporting children aged 0–5.

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.

• A calm, reliable and nurturing approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• The ability to work confidently as part of a collaborative nursery team.

• Existing eligibility to work in the UK.

• Please note: UK visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This role may suit candidates with experience as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Montessori Nursery Practitioner, Baby Room Practitioner, Nursery Nurse.
