Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Caerphilly

Academics are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities for experienced Teaching Assistants looking for full-time, long-term work, as well as those wanting flexible supply work.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Caerphilly, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils across the classroom with their learning and development Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate Helping create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment Assisting with classroom preparation and day-to-day routines Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement Following safeguarding and school policies at all times

What We're Looking For

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - essential Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to build positive relationships with pupils Reliable and committed to supporting pupils' learning Availability for full-time or regular work

Requirements

Enhanced DBS - required EWC registration - required Right to work in the UK Relevant safeguarding/compliance checks
