Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Yarm .

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Yarm Pay: £95–£110 per day Contract: Temporary, with potential for ongoing work

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support pupils across the classroom and work effectively alongside teaching staff.

The Role

• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
• Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional assistance
• Support pupils with SEND where required
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Assist with classroom preparation and resources
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
• Promote inclusion and encourage all pupils to participate
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
• A valid DBS on the Update Service is preferred
• Contactable school references
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children and their education
