Leverage Finance Associate - Legal 500 Firm - London

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Leverage Finance Associate to join its established banking and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on complex and high-value leveraged finance transactions within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive remuneration package.

The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this role offers exposure to a broad range of leveraged finance matters, including:

• 
  
• Advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions

Acting on private equity-backed deals, refinancings, and restructurings

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements

Managing transaction processes and coordinating with corporate, tax, and regulatory teams

Advising on covenant packages, security structures, and risk allocation

Supporting senior lawyers on complex cross-border transactions

About You

• 
  
• Qualified Solicitor with experience in banking and finance or leveraged finance

Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills

Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail

Confident managing transactions and competing deadlines

Ambitious and keen to progress within a leading London firm
