LGV Class 2 Driver

About the Role

Our client requires a diligent LGV Class 2 Driver to join their established distribution team in Southampton . You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of goods, operating a rigid Class 2 vehicle efficiently and safely. This role is key to ensuring the timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain within Hampshire and beyond. You will be part of a professional transport operation that values safety, punctuality, and teamwork, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle safely and legally, performing all necessary checks.
• Complete assigned delivery and collection routes within specified timeframes.
• Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded without damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and reports, including using a digital tachograph.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and road safety regulations in Southampton .

Requirements

• Valid LGV Class 2 (C) driving licence .
• Current Driver CPC card and Digi-Tacho card.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• No more than 6 driving licence endorsements.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Southampton and Hampshire area.
