Job Description This large and growing independent lift company are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to support them with servicing, maintenance and minor repairs on a static site at the King's Cross Estate. Walking Engineers will also be considered, with no requirement to participate in the night-call rota, making this an excellent opportunity for engineers who prefer a static, walking-based position.
As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for: Managing your own designated service route across the King's Cross EstateCarrying out servicing, maintenance and minor repairsApplying your knowledge as a Lift Engineer in fault-finding situationsAttending call outs and being on standby one week in fourNight call is optional for walking engineersWorking to best practices and maintaining high standards of health and safetyTo be successful in this role, you will have: A background in lift engineering, in either service, repair or installationNVQ Level 3 is essentialExperience working on a variety of lift productsStrong electrical and mechanical knowledgeThe ability to work independently and manage your own workloadIn return, you will receive a lucrative benefits package which includes:£45,000 - £50,000 Basic SalaryMarket-leading standby fee for engineers participating in the night-call rotaWalking Engineers are not required to participate in the night-call rotaDoor-to-door payOvertime readily availableOpportunity to gain new qualificationsCompany vehicle from day oneTools, laptop and mobile phone provided25 days' holiday plus bank holidays5% minimum pensionTraining and progression opportunities
