Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Line Chef to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes' beautiful holiday destinations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and great guest experiences. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and play a key role in delivering consistent, high standards. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills further within a supportive and growing business. - Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes in line with company standards
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
- Monitor stock levels, rotate stock correctly and assist with ordering
- Check deliveries and ensure quality and accuracy
- Assist with menu preparation and presentation
- Ensure a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards
Previous experience in a similar role within a kitchen environment - Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Passion for food and delivering a great guest experience
