This company is seeking an Engineer to support bespoke systems for key maritime and defence customers. The role offers hands-on technical work within a growing team, along with structured training and clear progression opportunities into senior or management positions.

Responsibilities:

• Network and software installs, troubleshooting
• Travelling UK wide and internationally when not in the office
• Liaising with customers to resolve issues

Skills/Must Haves:

• Linux Experience - able to troubleshoot, log into command lines
• Cisco support to basic levels
• Clean Driving Licence
• SC Clearable
• Happy working at heights (up to 30m)

Desirable Skills:

• SUSE Linux
• CCNA
• Already holding valid clearance

Location:

• Birkenhead 50%, UK & International travel 50%

Benefits:

• P.A. in travel allowances and on call

Salary:

• Up to £35,000 basic per annum (can flex) + circa £5-6,000
