About the Role

Our client, a leading law firm based in Manchester , is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate to join their thriving dispute resolution team. This role offers the chance to handle a diverse portfolio of complex litigation cases for a national client base. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception to conclusion, working collaboratively with partners and other legal professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct all stages of civil litigation, including pre-action protocols, pleadings, disclosure, and discovery.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare witness statements.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risks, and potential settlement options.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to ensure efficient case progression.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation .
• Strong understanding of civil procedure rules and litigation practice.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• Admission to the Solicitors roll or equivalent qualification is required.
