A friendly, sociable and ambitious student is looking for two Personal Assistants to provide support while studying Medical Science at the University of Worcester. You will be supporting our client in her family home Gloucestershire and help her commuting to university in Worcester from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by enabling someone to live independently, succeed academically and enjoy the full university experience.

Location: Gloucestershire GL10 (home) / Worcester (Uni)

Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off (live in)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay & Benefits

Pay: £ £200 per day / £1,400 per week worked

Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)

Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be given

On-call support from client coordinator

About our client

You will be supporting a first-year Medical Science student who has cerebral palsy and a visual impairment affecting peripheral vision. Although our client uses a wheelchair, she also walks daily with assistance and value maintaining her independence.

She is passionate about sport and is a classified British shot-put athlete , training regularly with Cheltenham Harriers Athletic Club and the British Wheelchair Athletics Association. She also enjoys swimming, going to the gym, reading, music, cinema trips, cafés, restaurants and making the most of student life. xwwtmva
