Live-In Caregiver

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary requirements are adhered to.
• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and accompanying them to appointments or social outings.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship to combat loneliness.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a live-in capacity.
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to manage household tasks and maintain a clean environment.
• Willingness to live in the client's home for agreed periods.
• Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
