Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Safeguarding service based in Liverpool Council.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Protecting Individuals from Harm : Ensure that vulnerable individuals, including adults and children, are protected from harm, abuse, and neglect.
• Recognising Signs of Abuse : Identify signs and symptoms of various types of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse.
• Conducting Assessments : Complete assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, and undertake Section 42 (S42) Safeguarding Enquiries.
• Collaborating with Other Agencies : Work closely with other organizations and professionals to prevent and stop both the risks and experiences of abuse or neglect.
• Supporting Clients : Assist individuals and families in meeting some of life’s biggest challenges, empowering them to improve their lives.
• Maintaining Records : Keep accurate and detailed records using both manual and electronic systems.
• Balancing Safety and Choice : Balance the right to be safe with the right of the individual to make informed choices and to have their wellbeing promoted at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
