Position: Loading Shovel Operator
Location: North Shields
Start Date: 3 August 2026
Duration: 2 Weeks
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join a project in North Shields. This is for 2 weeks starting Monday 3rd August 2026, offering £22.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
- Load, move, and stockpile materials as directed.
- Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the site team to ensure efficient site operations.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Loading Shovel qualification.
- Previous experience operating loading shovels on construction, quarry, or industrial sites.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full PPE.
