About the Role

Our client is seeking a friendly and efficient Local Delivery Driver to operate a van for their business in Edinburgh . This role involves delivering goods to customers across the city and surrounding areas, providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint. You will be responsible for the safe handling and timely delivery of items, ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently within the specified geographical area.
• Load and unload goods safely and accurately into the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers' premises in a timely and courteous manner.
• Obtain signatures and confirm deliveries using handheld devices.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery van.
• Report any delivery issues, customer feedback, or vehicle problems promptly.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience in a van delivery role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
