Locum Band 7 Specialist Pharmacist – Respiratory & Frailty

Locum Pharmacists needed urgently on the South Coast for the below roles:

ROLE No 1: Highly Specialist Respiratory Pharmacist (Band 7)

If you’re a clinical pharmacist with a real interest in respiratory care, this new locum opportunity on the South Coast might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. One of my NHS clients is looking for a Highly Specialist Respiratory Pharmacist (Band 7) to join their team and play a key role in shaping their respiratory pharmacy service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering advanced medicines optimisation and clinical support
• Supporting education and training within the respiratory team
• Working closely with MDT colleagues to enhance patient outcomes
• Contributing to service development and risk management

Qualifications

• Clinical Pharmacy qualification (or working towards it)
• Solid NHS hospital clinical experience

ROLE No 2: Specialist Pharmacist with experience in Older Persons Medicine (OPM) or Frailty (Band 7)

I’m pleased to share a new locum role with one of my NHS clients on the South Coast, ideal for a Specialist Pharmacist with experience in Older Persons Medicine (OPM) or Frailty. If you enjoy working closely with MDTs and supporting patient‑centred care, this could be a great match.

Responsibilities

• Leading OPM pharmacy input and supporting frailty pathways
• Providing clinical expertise in medicines optimisation and deprescribing
• Contributing to service development across primary and secondary care
• Supporting junior pharmacists through mentoring and education

Qualifications

• Clinical Pharmacy qualification (or working towards it)
• Previous NHS hospital experience
• Experience in Frailty/OPM and NMP is a bonus
