Locum Contracts Lawyer

Venn Group are excited to be working with a Yorkshire-based Combined Authority in their search for a Locum Contracts Lawyer. The role will involve providing legal support across a varied portfolio of projects including brownfield housing regeneration, adult skills work and wider strategic initiatives.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3-months initially, very likely to extend

Hours: Full-time preferably (37 hours per week)

Travel: Primarily remote with at least 1 day per week on-site

Rate: £60-65 per hour, umbrella

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx Lawyer with a current Practising Certificate
• Previous local government or public sector contracts experience
• Ideally previous experience with grant funding agreements and subsidy control matters
