About the Role
Our client requires a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role will provide essential administrative support to the logistics department, ensuring the efficient coordination of shipments and accurate record-keeping. You will be involved in managing documentation, communicating with carriers, and supporting the day-to-day operations within the Logistics & Warehousing sector. This hybrid position allows for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external carriers to schedule shipments and deliveries.
- Process shipping orders and update tracking information in the company's system.
- Respond to inquiries from customers and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Assist with invoice processing and cost tracking for logistics activities.
- Support the logistics team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Logistics & Warehousing sector and operations in Wolverhampton is an advantage.
