About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Logistics Administrator to support their supply chain operations from their office in Cambridge , with a hybrid working arrangement. This role is vital for the smooth coordination of shipments, documentation management, and communication with stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing logistics paperwork, and ensuring that all administrative aspects of the supply chain run seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage all logistics documentation, including shipping orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Coordinate with transport providers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and delivery statuses.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to resolve logistical issues.
- Prepare reports on logistics activities and performance metrics.
- Assist in tracking shipments and providing timely updates to relevant parties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
