We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Controller to coordinate production, inventory, engineering changes, and material flow across the business. Free onsite parkingThe RoleAs Logistics Controller, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and production information between Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory, Sales, and Manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and prototype activities
Maintaining ERP system accuracy and production master data
Coordinating production schedules and production orders
Monitoring inventory accuracy and stock performance
Supporting materials planning and supplier liaison activities
Producing logistics and production documentation
Generating and reporting on key operational KPIs
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes
Working closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth operationsAbout YouYou will have:
Experience within logistics, production planning, inventory control, or supply chain environments
Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, BAAN, or similar)
A solid understanding of BOMs, production orders, inventory control, and MRP principles
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
