Logistics Coordinator - 12 months Fixed Term

Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics team at our Wolverhampton facility. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, the Logistics Coordinator will oversee all aspects of shipping. Recent experience or qualifications in warehousing or a similar field will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves raising shipping paperwork and commercial invoices, preparing products for international shipments, processing shipments through customer portals, and engaging with and coordinating transport agents.

General Duties

You will ensure all activities comply with current health, safety, and environmental legislation. Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace following 5S principles is essential. You will interact with material controllers and production staff to address daily priorities and issues, and accurately record all stock movements.

Relationship Management

You will collaborate with the team to share ideas and support continuous improvement activities. Being an enthusiastic, flexible team player with a bias for action and strong work discipline is crucial. Maintaining effective communication with other departmental staff is also important.

Self-Management

The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and encourage change, be a team player with a positive attitude, possess strong communication skills with a high level of integrity, and be self-aware, resilient, optimistic, and open to change. Showing openness and honesty in all dealings and adopting a collaborative approach to working with others is essential.

Key Knowledge

Experience in logistics and manufacturing processes is required. The candidate should be computer literate with problem-solving and analytical skills.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
