Logistics Coordinator - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support their operations in Norwich . This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the FMCG supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and liaising with carriers and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics operations, including shipment scheduling and tracking.
• Liaise with transportation providers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock within the supply chain to meet demand.
• Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and costs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain support role, preferably in FMCG .
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant certification or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
