Logistics Coordinator - Inventory & Fleet Management

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage inventory and fleet operations for their facility in Cambridge . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, from receiving and storage to dispatch and delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring fleet compliance and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to optimizing logistical processes within the scientific and technological hub of Cambridge , contributing to a smooth and reliable supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and accurate record-keeping.
• Coordinate daily activities of the delivery fleet, including scheduling and route planning.
• Ensure all fleet vehicles are maintained in good working order and comply with regulations.
• Process orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding logistics and delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and report on stock levels and discrepancies.
