Logistics Coordinator - Warehouse Operations

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support their warehouse operations in Oxford . This hybrid role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods in and out of the facility, coordinating with drivers, warehouse staff, and management. You will be instrumental in managing schedules, tracking inventory, and resolving operational challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a good understanding of warehouse logistics, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, working both on-site and remotely to maintain high operational standards and contribute to the overall success of the distribution network, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations , including receiving, dispatch, and inventory management.
• Schedule and manage incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
• Liaise with delivery drivers and transport providers to ensure timely collections and drop-offs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and discrepancies within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the operational area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse coordination , or a similar role.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to manage workload effectively in a hybrid working environment.
• Familiarity with Oxford's local logistics infrastructure is advantageous.
