About the Role

Our client requires a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Coventry . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, managing transportation schedules, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet delivery deadlines. You will play a key part in optimizing logistics processes, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily logistics activities, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and managing carrier relationships.
• Prepare and process logistics documentation, such as bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
• Liaise with internal departments (sales, warehouse) and external partners (suppliers, customers, carriers).
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and update the company's logistics software .
• Assist in the analysis of logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain support role is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
