About the Role

Our client requires a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Coventry . This role is integral to the efficient movement of goods, involving the coordination of shipments, tracking of deliveries, and communication with carriers and customers. You will play a key part in ensuring that all logistical operations run smoothly, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the seamless operation of our client's supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily shipments, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Track shipments in transit and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipping documents and delivery confirmations.
• Liaise with transport providers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status and any potential disruptions.
• Assist in resolving logistical problems and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Logistics or Transportation coordination role is essential.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and general office applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation is advantageous.
