Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the transportation and delivery of their diverse range of FMCG products. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to manage complex logistical operations from anywhere. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, coordinating with carriers, monitoring shipments, and resolving any logistical challenges that may arise. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, working collaboratively with a distributed team to maintain supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the scheduling and execution of shipments for FMCG products.
• Liaise with transportation providers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery progress, and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation in relevant systems.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and customer inquiries related to logistics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, essential for a remote position.
• Knowledge of the FMCG supply chain is advantageous.
