About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods for their manufacturing operations, based near Norwich . This fully remote role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of raw materials to our production lines and the dispatch of finished goods to customers. You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to optimize supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of logistics principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely arrival of materials and components.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including inventory levels and shipping documentation.
- Identify and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
