Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the movement of goods for their operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to our international logistics network from anywhere. You will be instrumental in coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring that all logistics activities are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Manage relationships with shipping carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Track shipments, provide updates to stakeholders, and proactively resolve any transit issues.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
• Optimize routes and transportation methods to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities within the company's management system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, preferably within a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of transportation modes, shipping procedures , and customs regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with carriers, clients, and internal teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to remote work best practices.
