About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the efficient movement of goods for their operations based in Coventry . This role is central to ensuring that supply chains run smoothly, from order placement to final delivery. You will liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to optimise logistics operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling shipments and deliveries.
• Track shipments, provide timely updates to stakeholders, and proactively resolve any logistical challenges.
• Liaise with transport providers to negotiate rates and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipment details, costs, and delivery times.
• Optimise warehouse space utilisation and inventory management processes.
• Develop and implement improved logistics procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or coordination role.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
