About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Coventry . This role is central to ensuring the smooth flow of goods, coordinating shipments, and managing transportation logistics. You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, carriers, and customers to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Manage relationships with shipping carriers and negotiate favourable rates.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs declarations and invoices.
• Liaise with internal departments (sales, purchasing) and external clients to resolve logistical issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements between different locations.
• Utilize logistics software to manage and optimize transportation routes and schedules.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics coordination or similar administrative role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
