Logistics Manager
Thetford, Norfolk Monday to Friday - 08.00am - 16.30 - Office based.

We're looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to take ownership of a fast-paced transport and delivery operation, leading a team of around 15 people and ensuring customers receive an exceptional service every time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven logistics professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and making a real impact. You'll oversee fleet operations, delivery performance, compliance and customer satisfaction, while helping shape the future of a growing and ambitious business.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and developing drivers and logistics teams Managing fleet performance, maintenance and vehicle compliance Driving delivery efficiency, service improvements and cost control Ensuring deliveries are completed in full and on time Building strong relationships with customers and third-party carriers Overseeing health & safety and transport compliance standards Identifying opportunities to improve operational performanceRequirements
Proven experience in logistics, transport or distribution management Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment Strong understanding of fleet management, delivery operations and route planning Commercial awareness with a focus on performance and continuous improvement A proactive, hands-on leadership style Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements Experience using logistics, transport management or ERP systems Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
