Construction Logistics Manager

Location: Peckham, South London, SE15 5RS Job Type: Contract / Long-term Start: ASAP

Lonsite are looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to work on a busy residential development in South London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day site logistics, ensuring deliveries, access, material movements and logistics teams are coordinated safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Managing all site logistics and delivery bookings

• Coordinating vehicle access, unloading areas and material movements

• Managing Traffic Marshals, Labourers and logistics operatives

• Coordinating subcontractor deliveries and site movements

• Managing storage areas, loading zones and access routes

• Maintaining safe pedestrian and vehicle segregation

• Coordinating waste removal and site housekeeping

• Liaising closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors

• Ensuring logistics operations comply with site health & safety procedures

• Maintaining logistics plans, records and relevant site documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Logistics Manager on busy construction sites

• Experience working on residential developments preferred

• Strong understanding of construction site logistics

• Experience managing deliveries, subcontractors and logistics teams

• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS

• Valid CSCS card

• First Aid preferred

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Able to provide recent working references
