Logistics Operations Analyst (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Logistics Operations Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical for optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex operational data to identify trends, pinpoint inefficiencies, and recommend strategic improvements. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes and the ability to translate data into actionable insights, all while working within a remote-first culture .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics and warehouse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards to monitor operational performance.
• Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to implement process improvements and track their effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains within the supply chain.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within the supply chain or operations field.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis , modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment .
