About the Role

This role is critical for ensuring the smooth execution of inbound and outbound logistics operations on a day-to-day basis. You will coordinate with internal teams, external carriers, and customers to manage shipments, track progress, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end process for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for carriers, drivers, and warehouse personnel, addressing operational queries and resolving issues.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively identify potential delays or disruptions, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipment status, documentation, and costs.
- Liaise with customer service and sales teams to provide updates on order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and cost savings within logistics operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Logistics Coordination or similar operational role, preferably within a remote or distributed team.
- Strong understanding of shipping processes, carrier management, and transportation modes.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, including transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain productivity in a remote setting.
