About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to support their operations in Nottingham . This role involves the day-to-day coordination of logistics activities, ensuring the smooth movement of goods and managing relationships with various stakeholders. You will be instrumental in optimizing logistical processes, resolving issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment progress, track deliveries, and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Prepare and process necessary shipping documentation and customs forms.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and warehousing, to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics procedures and improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics operations , coordinator, or administrative role.
• Familiarity with shipping procedures, documentation, and international logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
