About the Role

Our client is looking for a versatile Logistics Operative and Driver to support their operations in Milton Keynes . This dynamic role involves a mix of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the supply chain. You will contribute to efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in both a warehouse environment and on the road, playing a key part in the company's logistics network across Buckinghamshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle for local deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, stocking, and picking of inventory.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or driving role.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic inventory management tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
