About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and physically capable Logistics Operatives to join their busy warehouse team in Nottingham . This role is integral to the smooth running of the distribution centre, involving a range of tasks from receiving goods to dispatching orders. You will be expected to work efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of safety and organization. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and accurately check incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with company standards.
• Load vehicles for outgoing deliveries, ensuring correct weight distribution and security.
• Assist with inventory management and stocktaking activities as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move goods regularly.
• Understanding of basic health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different warehouse tasks.
