Logistics Operative

About the Role

Our client requires a reliable and efficient Logistics Operative to join their busy warehouse team in Derby . You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain. We are seeking a team player with a strong work ethic who can contribute to maintaining high standards of service and organization within the warehouse in Derby .

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately according to instructions.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different warehouse duties.
