About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Logistics Operative to join their team in Portsmouth . This hands-on role is crucial for the smooth running of the warehouse and distribution operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and dispatching goods, managing inventory, and assisting with loading and unloading vehicles. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play a key part in ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational success within the Portsmouth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to schedules.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, if trained and certified.
• Keep the warehouse area clean, organised, and safe at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics operative role is advantageous.
