Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transportation and delivery routes to optimise efficiency and cost.
• Coordinate with drivers and transport providers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any potential delays or issues.
• Manage communication with internal departments and external partners regarding logistics.
• Ensure all relevant shipping documentation is accurate and processed correctly.
• Analyse transportation data to identify opportunities for route optimisation and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics planning , route optimisation, or transportation management.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and related software.
• Strong understanding of UK road networks and delivery regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
