The opportunity
Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. As Logistics Supervisor, you will be supervising the logistics team, ensuring all areas, equipment, and furniture stock are carefully maintained, as well as assisting with Wembley Stadium’s event set-up and clear-back. What will you do?
- Oversee the logistics team on non-match days and event days, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification, and completing preparation activities for all areas, ready for the next event
- Operate manual handling equipment in line with provided training, immediately reporting any maintenance issues, and supporting the operational team with logistical needs
- Support the training and development of team members, ensuring their competency in safe systems
- Communicate with internal team members, suppliers, and hire companies
- Adhere to the Delaware North policies and procedures, and ensure that the operation is in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of health & safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards
More about you
- 3+ years’ experience, including previous experience with large-scale venue set-up
- No degree required
- Level 2 or 3 manual handling, forklift, and other relevant mechanical equipment licenses are beneficial
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communication
- Must have a flexible approach to working hours
