About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics Supervisor to join their team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics activities, including dispatch, scheduling, and route management.
• Coordinate and communicate with delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules and company policies.
• Monitor shipments and deliveries, proactively addressing any issues or delays.
• Manage logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Conduct on-site checks and remote administrative tasks, including performance monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics operation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing, or transport.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations, dispatch, and delivery management.
