Night Shift / Logistics / Pallet Network
Saltley, Birmingham (B8) NIGHT SHIFT: Monday - Friday 11am - 8am. We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy logistics operation in Saltley. Working within a fast-paced pallet network environment, you will oversee the night shift, ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately, and on time while leading a team to achieve operational targets. This role requires a a drivers licence and FLT licence to assist with movement around the warehouse / yard. This role is ideal for someone with previous logistics experience, particularly within the pallet network industry, who is looking to develop their career into a management position. Key Responsibilities Supervise the night shift warehouse operation, including inbound, outbound, and trunk movements. Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to deliver excellent performance. Ensure all palletised freight is loaded, unloaded, scanned, and handled accurately. Allocate resources to meet operational demands and service deadlines. Monitor freight quality and resolve any damage or labelling issues. Maintain high standards of health & safety, housekeeping, and compliance. Supervise the safe use of forklifts and warehouse equipment. Monitor warehouse KPIs, including productivity, loading accuracy, and damage rates. Work closely with the transport team to ensure efficient vehicle movements. Assist with staff training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational reports. Requirements Previous warehouse supervisory experience within logistics. Experience working in a pallet network environment is highly desirable. xehkeey Strong leadership and experience of managing a small team Desire to progress to a warehouse manager in the future Knowledge of warehouse health & safety procedures. FLT Counter balance licence (essential) Full UK drivers licence and the desire to take additional training such as vehicle shunting
