Primary Teaching Assistant - Rochdale | Full-Time | September Start

The schools are looking for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with class teachers and other members of staff, providing valuable support to pupils throughout the school day and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Helping pupils remain engaged, focused and motivated
• Supporting children's social, emotional and behavioural development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting an inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A positive, patient and nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• The ability to support pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible, proactive and reliable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children within primary education
