Lunchtime Supervisor

Pay Scale: Grade C / SCP 3 (£3,054 Actual Salary)

Contract: 5 hours per week (Term Time only)

Permanent: Required ASAP

Could you be the friendly face that keeps our lunchtimes happy and safe?

The successful candidate will work with pupils across the school, helping to make lunchtimes safe, positive and enjoyable.

You will:

• Support the play team during lunchtime to provide a safe and engaging playground environment.
• Support pupils in the lunch hall in line with school procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about working with children and wants the best for every pupil.
• Will engage in active play with children and lead games.
• Enjoys working with children and understands how important lunchtime is to their wellbeing.
• Is confident in managing low-level behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and is willing to follow school procedures.
• Reflects the school's values in their words and actions.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and online/social media checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

The post will be based at Durham Lane Primary School; however, the Trust reserves the right to require you to work at other schools within the Trust. As part of Lingfield Education Trust, there are opportunities to work across the Trust and develop your career.
