Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Front Office department, including check-in/check-out, concierge, and guest services.
• Lead, train, and motivate the front desk team to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Implement and maintain high standards for appearance, presentation, and service quality.
• Manage room inventory and reservations, working closely with the reservations and sales teams.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Front Office department.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent understanding of hotel operations, PMS systems, and reservation procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a demanding hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with the Edinburgh tourist market and its demands.
