Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset | 13.34 per hour (rising to 17.26 with training) | 40 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | Rotating Shifts | Temporary to Permanent
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Machine Operators on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset .
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Machine Operators , Production Operatives , Manufacturing Operatives , Machine Operatives , and Production Technicians looking to join a growing manufacturer offering structured training, career progression, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
What We Offer
- Starting pay of 13.34 per hour.
- Pay increases during training, rising to 17.26 per hour when fully trained.
- All breaks paid.
- Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:
- 6am-2pm.
- 2pm-10pm.
Key Duties
- Operate and programme production machinery.
- Manually handle and filter materials through machines.
- Top up chemical and fluid levels on machinery.
- Change tooling to manufacture different products.
- Fault-find and resolve production issues to maintain workflow.
- Work across a variety of machines and production tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and noisy manufacturing environment (hearing protection provided).
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small production team.
- Basic mechanical understanding is beneficial.
